He then was an assistant coach at Minnesota for 14 seasons before spending last season at Colorado College.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I really appreciate everything Mike did for our program and our team last<br \/>\nseason,&#8221; Tigers coach Scott Owens said. &#8220;He&#8217;s an excellent coach and a great hockey person.
