The WCHA women’s league is moving to a three-point system for league games this season.<\/p>\n
That means that a regulation win will be worth three points instead of two.<\/p>\n
Both teams get one point for being tied after a five-minute overtime, and the winner of the ensuing shootout gets an extra point.<\/p>\n
