Hockey Canada announced its roster today for the upcoming IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship and a pair of WCHA stars were named to the team.<\/p>\n
Minnesota-Duluth defenseman Dylan Olsen and Colorado College forward Jaden Schwartz impressed at this week’s selection camp and will play for the Canadians when the tournament opens Dec. 26 in Buffalo.<\/p>\n
Olsen, a Calgary native, has a goal and 12 assists for 13 points in 17 games for the Bulldogs, while Schwartz, from Emerald Park, Sask., leads the Tigers in scoring with an 11-15-26 line through 17 games.<\/p>\n
Notre Dame forward Riley Sheahan was one of the last cuts this morning and Miami forward Reilly Smith was released from camp on Monday.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
