The team will use Reisterstown Sportsplex in Reisterstown, Md., as its game and practice facility.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are extremely excited to welcome Stevenson into the ECAC Men&#8217;s West Hockey League,&#8221; said ECAC president Dr. Kevin McGinniss in a news release. &#8220;Stevenson has been an innovative athletics program and adding men&#8217;s ice hockey is yet another reminder of the University&#8217;s strong commitment to its student-athletes. Stevenson will be a great addition to an already extremely competitive league.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The Stevenson women&#8217;s team, which just completed its third season, posted a program-best 16-8-1 record this year.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The success of our women&#8217;s ice hockey team really paved the way for the addition of a men&#8217;s program,&#8221; added Stevenson director of athletics Brett Adams. &#8220;Not only is our women&#8217;s squad enjoying success on the ice, but the quality of student-athletes that we are attracting through the program fits Stevenson University perfectly.
