The Big Ten announced Monday that Penn State freshman forward Andrew Sturtz has been suspended for one game as a result of an incident that occurred in a game against Michigan on Jan. 30.<\/p>\n
The action was taken by the conference after a review of an incident that occurred near the 17:46 mark of the third period and resulted in the player receiving a major penalty for interference.<\/p>\n
Sturtz is ineligible to play in Penn State’s next game on Feb. 5 against Minnesota.<\/p>\n
