Neither I nor Nicole had a stellar week last week. I went 20-11-3 and she went 19-12-3. On the year, I have a huge lead in our picks race. I am 357-120-63, while she is 319-158-63.

We are into the postseason; let’s see how we do.

Candace: Home ice for the underdog plus pressure on the Colonials could lead to an upset. Lindenwood 2-1, Robert Morris 3-1

Nicole: I’m putting my faith in the Colonials to hold on to their top seed. Robert Morris 3-2, 4-2

Candace: I think the Orange have enough firepower to get the critical sweep. Syracuse 3-1, 3-2

Nicole: I think Syracuse falls just short. Split series. Penn State 3-1, Syracuse 4-2

Candace: The Tigers are not having a good season, though they seem to confound me of late. Mercyhurst 3-2, 3-1

Nicole: I expect the Lakers to sweep. Mercyhurst 3-1, 2-0

Candace: The Golden Knights get ready to advance on St. Louis. Clarkson 4-2, 4-2

Nicole: I don’t see this one going to three games. Clarkson 5-2, 4-2

Candace: Colgate has enough that it might push this to three, but I like the Big Red to sweep. Cornell 3-2, 3-1

Nicole: This one should take all three games, with Colgate taking the middle one. Cornell 3-2, Colgate 2-1, Cornell 4-2

Candace: This should go three games for sure. Defense might get the Bobcats the sweep, but I like the Tigers of late. Princeton 3-2, Quinnipiac 2-1, Princeton 4-2

Nicole: I think this series goes to three games as well. Quinnipiac 2-1, Princeton 4-2, 3-1

Candace: The Bulldogs don’t have enough weapons to push the home team. St. Lawrence 3-1, 4-1

Nicole: The Saints should take this in two. St. Lawrence 4-0, 4-1

Candace: The Eagles get the sweep to advance. Boston College 4-1

Nicole: BC took game one. They should finish the series in game two. Boston College 5-2

Candace: New Hampshire has had some good stretches, but I like BU to sweep. Boston University 4-2, 3-2

Nicole: I think New Hampshire can push this two three games, but BU will come out on top. Boston University 4-3, New Hampshire 3-2, Boston University 3-1

Candace: I expect Northeastern to sweep and garner momentum in a bid to make it to the NCAA tournament. Northeastern 3-1, 4-1

Nicole: Northeastern won three against UConn in the regular season and I don’t see anything changing. They take the series in two. Northeastern 4-2, 4-1

Candace: These two squads played three close games in the regular season. I expect this to go three. Providence 3-2, Vermont 3-2, Providence 4-2

Nicole: I’ll pick an upset here and choose the Catamounts to take this series. Vermont 3-2, Providence 4-2, Vermont 4-3

Candace: This is about the surest best of the weekend. Wisconsin 5-1, 5-1

Nicole: Badgers should handle this in two games. Wisconsin 5-1, 6-0

Candace: Duluth should advance in two. Minnesota Duluth 3-1

Nicole: Duluth already won the first game and I don’t see that they’ll have any trouble finishing it in two. Minnesota Duluth 4-1

Candace: I like what I saw of the Gophers last weekend. I expect that to be a springboard. Minnesota 3-1, 3-1

Nicole: I know the Beavers always seem to have the Gophers number, but I just think they have the depth this year. Minnesota 4-1, 5-1

Candace: This is a tough one to pick. I’m going North Dakota in two. North Dakota 2-1, 3-2

Nicole: I’m going to say Kassidy Sauve can help the Buckeyes take a game here and force the third match, but the Fighting Hawks win the series. Ohio State 2-1, North Dakota 4-1, 3-0
