On the year, we are 63-36-16 (.617).<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s a light weekend in the NCHC, and we see things the same way again this weekend.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Friday-Saturday, Jan. 5-6<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>No. 4 Denver at Miami<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Candace:<\/strong> Last year, Miami came into Denver and earned two ties behind sensational goaltending from Ryan Larkin. The RedHawks have looked good this year, but I give the edge to Denver. <strong>Denver 3-2, 2-1<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Matthew:<\/strong> Denver&#8217;s on the road here, but I like the Pioneers to pick up where they left off against Air Force. <strong>Denver 3-1, 3-1<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>No. 18 Omaha at No. 6 North Dakota<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Candace:<\/strong> The last time Omaha swept a series, they got swept the following weekend. I think the same thing happens. <strong>North Dakota 3-2, 3-1<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Matthew:<\/strong> It wouldn&#8217;t surprise me if Omaha gets points from this series, but even though the Mavericks dominated Union last week, I don&#8217;t know that they&#8217;ll do that again here. <strong>North Dakota 3-2, 4-2<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>No. 10 Minnesota at No. 1 St. Cloud State<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Candace:<\/strong> I&#8217;m going with the league home pick on this one. <strong>St. Cloud State 4-2, 3-2<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Matthew:<\/strong> An SCSU team that&#8217;s yet to lose at home gets a Minnesota team that&#8217;s 1-7-1 on the road.
